Population

Barangay San Vicente is the second largest barangay, San Antonio being the first, in San Pedro, Laguna. But in terms of population, it is the town’s largest: it has more or less 97,000 residents. It has 17,697 households and density of 130. Agriculture, fishing, duck raising, fruit trees and sampaguita were the main source of income of its residents. Many residents here also raise fowl and cattle. There are also a few remaining sampaguita backyard farms which made San Pedro the Sampaguita Capital of the Philippines.

There are many agricultural and industrial resources that can provide for the citizens of the barangay. One priority the officials should remember is to how to evenly distribute the resources to be able to support the people. If the resources are always managed, no problems would be encountered by the barangay.
